Great Egret
Scientific name is Casmerodius albus. This bird is a common breeding resident, found in the wetlands of Haryana. Locally called 'Bada Bagla', it is a lanky snow white bird with bare black legs. Height is about 35 inches with a black or yellow black colored bill.
